Megastar Chiranjeevi continues to be in the news for coming to the rescue of needy people and artists in distress. This month, the legendary actor gave Rs 1 lakh to the wife of late TNR and then gave another Rs 1 lakh to Pavala Syamala, the veteran character artist.
The ‘Acharya’ actor is now in the news for helping out the family of Kilari Jayaram, the late driver of his caravan. The driver had breathed his last due to covid. Chiru reached out to his wife K Sobha Rani, daughter Vinodini (8) and sons Kaushik (18) and Jaswanth (12).
Upon coming to know that the family is needy, Chiru gave them monetary assistance of Rs 1 lakh. The bereaved family recently went to the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank building and took the money from Chiranjeevi Yuvatha president R Swamy Naidu.
Speaking on the occasion, Jayaram’s wife said, “Chiranjeevi garu has always been a saviour. He has always been there for our family in tough times. He had helped us out when my husband suffered injuries in a road accident. He called up his daughter in law, Upasana, and helped in us treatment.”
