On Monday, Megastar Chiranjeevi donated Rs 50 lakh to the Telangana Chief Minister's Relief Fund to support those affected by the recent heavy rains and floods in the state. Chiranjeevi met Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills, where he handed over the cheque. In addition, Chiranjeevi also presented a separate cheque of Rs 50 lakh on behalf of his son, Ram Charan, of *RRR* fame, according to an official release.

Several prominent personalities, including industrialists and actors, have come forward to contribute to the CM Relief Fund. Chiranjeevi had previously announced donations of Rs 50 lakh each for both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to aid in flood relief efforts. He expressed his sorrow over the loss of lives and the hardships endured by the people in the Telugu states due to the floods. Ram Charan, similarly, pledged Rs 50 lakh each to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Chiranjeevi’s younger brother, actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, also contributed significantly. On September 11, he met Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to hand over a cheque of Rs 1 crore for the Telangana CM Relief Fund. Earlier, on September 4, Pawan Kalyan had announced a total donation of Rs 6 crore, with Rs 1 crore each to the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana CMRFs and an additional Rs 4 crore allocated to relief efforts in 400 villages in Andhra Pradesh.
Other Tollywood personalities also contributed to the relief efforts. Actor Sai Dharam Tej, nephew of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, donated Rs 10 lakh, presenting the cheque to Revanth Reddy on Monday. Actor Vishwak Sen similarly donated Rs 10 lakh, while actor Ali contributed Rs 3 lakh to the Telangana CM Relief Fund.
Several other notable figures, including Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA and top actor N. Balakrishna, also supported the cause. Balakrishna, who is the brother-in-law of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, donated Rs 50 lakh. His daughter Tejaswini met CM Revanth Reddy on Friday to present the cheque on his behalf.
In addition, former minister Galla Aruna Kumari, representing Amara Raja Group, presented a cheque of Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister for the relief fund. These collective contributions from the Tollywood fraternity and industrialists have been crucial in supporting flood-affected regions in both Telugu states.
