Chinmayi trolled in a vulgar way after Samantha-Pooja controversy

Chinmayi Sripada wading into the Samantha Akkineni-Pooja Hegde controversy has been followed by abusive trolling. The dubbing artist has been abused in a toxic way since Thursday soon after she made a couple of tweets supporting Samantha.  She has been accused of bullying Pooja Hegde by joining hands with the ‘Majili’ actress and ‘Oh Baby’ director Nandini Reddy.

Taking to Twiter on Friday, Chinmayi said that she is sorry if anybody feels she has resorted to bullying.  “I apologize if you think I have done bullying.  I believe that one has to say sorry if a wrong has been done,” Chinmayi said.

She then went on to call out those who use vulgar words against her.  “నన్ను ‘ల.ము’. అని తిట్టే అ-సభుయలకి, మిమ్మల్ని ఇలా తయారుచేసినవాళ్ళకి – మీ సంస్కారానికి ఓ దండం  మీకు,” she said.

Sharing screenshots of some trolls using grotesque abuses at her, the singer said that she is flooded with such words whenever she speaks for women’s rights, etc.

Since the playback singer has been a vocal feminist, sexist and misogynistic trolling is a given whenever she tries to make a point.
