Chinmayi Sripaada is an eminent playback singer, voice actor, television presenter and radio jockey in the South Indian film industry. She is viewed as the frontrunner of the 'Me Too' movement in Indian cinema after she called out veteran and leading lyricist Vairamuthu for sexual harassment.

On the personal front, Chinmayi tied the knot with the well-known south actor and her lover Rahul Ravindran in May 2014. The couple was blessed with twin babies named Driptah and Sharvas last June. Now, the latest is that Chinmayi's husband has revealed how the adorable pair started dating each other in the first place.

Rahul posted a screenshot of the first message in which he asks Chinmayi whether she is single and wrote, "Suddenly remembered that our interactions started on Twitter DMs… and went through them again. Some very serious discussions about completely unromantic topics later… this was the exact message when I carefully thought it through and decided to get flirty with her…" (sic).

Then, Rahul shared a screenshot of the message when he first asked Chinmayi out with the caption, "And a few more messages later… I said to myself… %*+# it, am asking her out. And for the next two hours till she replied… heart was in a Formula One car without seatbelt strapped on. You wouldn’t have known it had you met me… but damn!"

Rahul penned further, "In hindsight… could have probably been smoother… but we exchanged phone numbers a few minutes later… and 11 years later… we’ve got two babies, four puppies and a life we’ve built together. Guess it worked out after all:)" (sic). These tweets are currently doing rounds on the internet.
