Last week's release 90 ML starring Oviya and 4 new heroines, and directed by Anita Udeep of Kulir 100 degree fame has been the talk of the town and the movie has been subjected to controversies, with moral police as well as people from various corners bashing the movie for its bold content.

Social media has been filled with moral police posting that 90 ML is against the culture and that it spoils the generation by portraying women in bad light. There are also extremely angry reaction from netizens on Oviya who has played the lead role in the movie while many of her fans claimed that they are no more a part of Oviya army.

In such a situation, the Women's wing of Indian National League party has approached Chennai city police commissioner's office and have filed a case against Oviya for acting in 90 ML in a way that degrades women, and demanded her arrest. It is to be seen if Oviya gets arrested for acting in Anita Udeep's 90 ML.
