Buzz! Taraka Ratna onboarded for superstar’s movie

Taraka Ratna, who in recent years has done movies such as ‘Devineni’, is said to have been onboarded for a crucial role in Superstar Mahesh Babu’s 28th movie. To be directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the film will go on the floors a few weeks from now.

There is this buzz that the actor, who hails from the Nandamuri camp, will be playing a doctor in the untitled movie. It is most likely going to be a layered character. Trivikram has experimented with actors as different as Samuthirakani and Naveen Chandra in recent years. Ratna must be hoping for the best.

The actor will soon be seen in the Telugu-language web series ‘9 Hours’, which is going to be streamed on Disney+Hotstar from June 2. Created by Krish Jagarlamudi, the series has Taraka Ratna in the role of a cop. Ajay has played a prisoner in it. 

As for SSMB28, it is produced by S Radha Krishna of Haarika & Hassine Creations. The film has Pooja Hegde as the heroine.
