Britney Spears ties the knot with 28 years old boyfriend in a fairy tale wedding

Pop sensation Britney Spears tied the knot with her long-term boyfriend Sam Ashgari on Thursday night in the backyard of her mansion in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

After meeting in October 2016 on the set of the “Toxic” singer’s “Slumber Party” music video, the pair have shared over five years of sweet moments together while also weathering all of the difficulties that came with Spears’ conservatorship. Asghari popped the question in September 2021, and they revealed shortly after the engagement that they are trying to have their first baby together.

Spears excitedly shared a sneak peek at her wedding gown via Instagram in May 2022. “And yes, this is the veil to my wedding dress,” she wrote of the long, white tulle accessory. Donatella Versace is designing the gown.

The big day started out chaotically, as the “Womanizer” singer’s first husband, Jason Alexander, was arrested outside her home early Thursday afternoon after attempting to crash the wedding.

Celebrities including Madonna, Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez, Kate Hudson, and Gwyneth Paltrow are on the guest list for this intimate ceremony. Spears’ friendship with Madonna, 63, goes back decades, as both pop divas praised each other in early 2000s interviews before joining forces for 2003’s “Me Against the Music” duet. Later that year, the pair shared an infamous kiss during a performance with Christina Aguilera and Missy Elliott at the MTV Video Music Awards.
