Breaking! ChaySam’s ‘Majili’ gets a release date

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha are doing Shiva Nirvana’s ‘Majili’.  The period romance will hit the screens on April 5.  This is going to be one of the first major Summer releases.

“We are happy to unveil the second look of the entertainer this Sankranthi.  Divyansha Kaushik teams up with Chaitanya as the film’s second female lead,” the makers inform.  “This one is going to be special, most beautiful depiction of the journey that is ‘life’. Our lives don’t always go as planned,” Samantha says about the film.

If the First Look presented the Akkineni hero as a mellowed lover man in his middle ages, the latest one showcases him as a cricketer.

‘There Is Love… There Is Pain’ is the film’s tag line.  Set in Vizag, only about 20 percent of the movie is yet to be made.

Rao Ramesh, Posani Krishna Murali and Subba Raju will be seen as supporting actors, while Gopi Sundar and Vishnu Sarma are taking care of music and cinematography.
