Actress Sridevi’s husband and popular Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor had entered Tamil film industry in 2019, and his first production was the Thala Ajith starrer Ner Konda Paarvai, which was the Tamil remake of Hindi hit Pink and this movie was directed by H Vinoth.
Boney Kapoor has also bought the Hindi remake rights of Comali, which will have his son Arjun Kapoor in lead role, and is next producing Valimai in Tamil, starring Ajith and Huma Qureshi, and this movie directed by H Vinoth will release on Diwali this year.
Now the release date of another Tamil movie of Boney Kapoor has been announced. Boney Kapoor has produced the movie Maidaan starring Ajay Devgn and Priyamani and directed by Amit Sharma, and this movie which is about the football legend Syed Abdul Rahim will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam on December 11.
