Bollywood actor Aamir Khan took to his official Instagram and Twitter handles to announce that he has decided to quit social media in order to devote his complete focus to work. The announcement comes a day after the actor celebrated his 55th birthday on March 14.
Thanking his fans for the birthday wishes, Aamir revealed his decision to log off Twitter and Instagram permanently. His post read, "Hey guys, thank you so much for all the love and warmth on my birthday. My heart is full. In other news, this is going to be my last post on social media. Considering that I an SO active anyway, I have decided to drop the pretence. We will continue to communicate as we did before." Aamir further mentioned that his work related updates will be shared via the official handle of his production house, Aamir Khan Productions. "In addition, AKP has created its official channel! So future updates on me and my films can be found there. Here's the official handle! @akppl_official. Lots of love, always (sic)," he concluded.
Aamir Khan will next be seen in comedy drama film titled 'Laal Singh Chaddha' alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan. The movie also features Vijay Sethupathi and Mona Singh in significant roles. Laal Singh Chaddha is an official remake of the Hollywood blockbuster Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks.
