Biopic to be made on Sourav Ganguly – Deets inside

When a biopic on MS Dhoni was made years ago, many thought that only Sachin Tendulkar might get a biopic debuted to him. But some other cricketer is now going to have a film made about him. It’s Sourav Ganguly, the legendary former skipper.

On Tuesday, the BCCI President made it official that he has agreed for his life to be portrayed on the big screen. Speculations are rife that Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor is going to essay the cricketer’s role.

Not only is Ganguly trending big time on Twitter but so also Ranbir. The fans of the ‘Sanju’ actor have taken to social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram demanding that their favourite actor be cast in the dream role.

In January this year, Ganguly suffered a heart attack, post which he was hospitalized at the famous Woodland Hospital in Kolkata. It helped matters that he was rushed to the hospital as soon as he started feeling discomfort in his chest while working on the treadmill.
