Bigil becomes Vijay’s biggest film ever!

Thalapathy Vijay is currently acting in his 63rd movie Bigil, directed by Atlee marking their third collaboration after Theri and Mersal, and the movie produced by AGS Entertainment is a sports backdrop thriller, which will feature Vijay in dual roles as father and son and has music by AR Rahman.

It has been revealed that, while the initial budget planned for Bigil was 90 crores, the movie’s budget has expanded to 140 crores, with shooting of the movie yet to be completed. It has been said that the budget of the movie is bound to overtake the budget of Endhiran and Baahubali 1.

There has been huge buzz and expectations in the trade, and naturally the demand for the movie is high among distributors and exhibitors to bag the movie. It has been revealed that Bigil is the costliest film in Vijay’s career, and is expected to become his biggest grossing blockbuster as well. Also starring Nayanthara, Kathir, Indhuja, Jackie Shroff and Daniel Balaji, Bigil releases this Diwali.
