Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9 has officially entered its final phase, and with the finale drawing closer, tension inside the house has reached new heights. This week’s elimination round turned out to be one of the most dramatic and suspense-filled episodes of the season. After last week’s unexpected no-elimination, viewers widely expected a double elimination this time. However, Bigg Boss surprised everyone with a single eviction — and it was Divya Nikhita who was shown the exit door.
The Week 12 elimination sequence unfolded with unusual intensity. Host Nagarjuna called the two lowest-voted contestants — Divya Nikhita and Suman Shetty — to the activity area. There, a specially designed “volcano setup” awaited them.
Explaining the task, Nagarjuna said: “In front of you are volcanoes. You will pour the liquid beside you into the volcano. If the volcano turns green, you are safe. If it turns red, you are eliminated.”
Suman Shetty went first, and as soon as he poured the liquid, the volcano turned green, declaring him safe. Divya followed next, and the volcano for her lit up red, confirming her elimination. With that, Divya’s journey in the Bigg Boss house came to an end.
Interestingly, Divya was on the verge of elimination even last week. Both Sanjana and Divya were in the danger zone then, but contestant Immanuel used his Pavaraastra power to cancel the elimination entirely.
While the decision saved Divya at that moment, she could not escape the outcome this time. In Week 12’s voting, she recorded the lowest vote share among the danger-zone contestants, leading to her eviction.
Despite several strong contestants like Nikitha, Sanjana, Suman Shetty, Demon Pavan, and Bharani also being in danger this week, Divya had consistently been at the bottom in voting trends, making the result largely unsurprising.
Fans and netizens believe that Divya’s behaviour in the house significantly contributed to her elimination. Viewers particularly pointed out:
Many viewers felt Bharani’s game lacked clarity because he was constantly trying to balance Divya’s reactions. This reportedly pushed audiences to vote for others and avoid supporting Divya.
As a result, she became the lowest-voted contestant this week.
With Divya’s eviction, only eight contestants now remain in the Bigg Boss Telugu 9 house. The elimination is expected to shift internal group dynamics and strategies significantly.
Fans are eagerly watching how Bharani, now free from Divya’s influence according to viewers, will reshape his game in the coming weeks.
As Bigg Boss heads toward its finale, every move inside the house is becoming more crucial — and the competition more intense than ever.
