[PICTURES] Simbu attends Mahat and Prachi’s wedding

Mahat Raghavendra, who is famous for his role in Ajith’s Mankatha, gained popularity through his stint in the Tamil TV reality show, Bigg Boss Tamil, hosted by Kamal Haasan. The actor announced on Wednesday that he was getting married to his fiance and longtime girlfriend Prachi Mishra.

Mahat revealed the same through a post on Instagram that contained a collage of several images of the couple. Although Mahat and Prachi are yet to post pictures of their wedding ceremony, a couple of celebrities and friends who attended their wedding shared a few shots, that have been circulating on social media. Mahat’s closest friend Simbu and actress Laxmi Raai, among other celebrities, were present at the event.

In a heartwarming message conveying the news of his wedding, Mahat wrote on Instagram a day before the function, “When someone asks me how it all began, I don’t really know what to say. It just happened and it just felt so right. You came into my life and made everything a little better. We have been through it all- learnt from the bad days and celebrated the good ones. And most importantly, only grown to understand each other better with every bit of it.”

“To think that we are just a day away from being married, I feel lucky and blessed to have come a long way. I’ve enjoyed every day with you Prachi. And I am excited to see what the future holds for us. Even if we are lost in translation, I know we’ll have a good time! Thank you. I love you. Thank you FOR BEING YOU,” he further added. Mahat got engaged to Prachi in a low-key event on April 17.
