The grand finale of Bigg Boss season 6 was held last Sunday and Azeem won the title. Though Azeem lifted the trophy after he got the highest number of votes from the audience, he was heavily criticized on social media for his controversial behaviour and statements inside the Bigg Boss house.
But Azeem made a promise at the final stage of the game show that he would donate half of his prize money to the educational welfare of poor students if he wins the Bigg Boss title. He has emerged as the title winner as per his wish and now, Azeem has shared a video through his social media page in which he says that he is going to donate Rs 25 lakhs.
Azeem won Rs 50 lakhs in Bigg Boss 6 and he has now stated, "As I promised, half of my winning amount ₹25,00,000/- will be contributed to the education of children who lost their parents during Covid-19. This is just the start of me, giving back to the society the love you gave me. Forever i will be grateful to all of you" (sic). He added that he will start an account and update the details regarding the same on social media. Fans are wishing Azeem for his noble nature and the clip is going viral.
In the video, Azeem says, "I won Rs 50 lakhs in Bigg Boss. I will be donating half of this money to the poor students who lost their parents to COVID. I am doing this to pay back the Tamil people who voted for me all the weeks. Words should be put into action. I will keep up my promise by acting on it soon. This is giving back to society. What I am doing won't match one percent of what you have done for me. I hope that you all will support me in my future endeavors."
