Bigg Boss 8 winner and TV actor Gautam Gulati, who is currently in London, United Kingdom, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus and has quarantined himself.

Sharing his diagnosis on Instagram, Gautam Gulati wrote, "COVID-19 Sucks." In an interview with TOI, Gautam spoke about the illness. "I am an early riser, as I like to start my day with a workout. However, recently, I woke up with a body ache and felt weak. It didn't subside even after four days. When I lost my sense of taste, I knew it was COVID. I underwent a rapid test, which came positive. I am quite organised and taking all necessary precautions. I keep spraying sanitiser on everything before and after use. I inhale steam regularly and gargle with salt and turmeric in warm water. I eat right and healthy. I am also taking multivitamins and other supplements," he said.

Speaking about missing his family during this time, the reality show winner further added, "My mother and brother are obviously worried for me. So, while I am a bit stressed, I try to divert my attention towards more productive things. I miss my mother and the fact that I could have eaten homemade food." Gautam Gulati participated in the 8th season of Bigg Boss, hosted by Salman Khan, and won the title. The actor rose to fame following his roles in the TV serials Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani and Diya Aur Baati Hum.
