Now, her new film 'Sevappi' is all set to debut on Pongal. The makers officially announced this project with a title look poster recently.

Reportedly, this movie will directly premiere on Aha Tamil OTT on January 12th. 'Sevappi' is a drama film directed by MS Raaja with Poornima in one of the main roles with Rishikanth, Shravan Athvethan, Sebastin Antony, Dilli, Rajamani and others. The technical team comprises A Praveen Kumar as the music composer, Manoharan M as the DOP and Vachu Lakshmin as the editor.

The film revolves around a five-year-old boy living in a small village in Tamil Nadu in the 1990s. The boy is safely petting a chicken and they share a great bond. At one point when the boy has to part with the chicken and a lot of problems arise in the village due to the chicken. The film is all about whether the boy and the chicken got together in the end.
