‘Big Boss 5’ hosted by Kamal Haasan is currently one of the most popular shows aired on Vijay TV. The reality show, that got off to a rather tame start on October 3rd, consisted of 18 relatively unknown contestants compared to previous editions. Namitha, Nadia Chang, Abhishek Raja, Chinna Ponnu, Suruthi and Madhumita have been evicted in the past 52 days. Abhishek known for his controversies, has been brought back on a wild card.
Last week it was the turn of popular gaana singer Isaivani to be eliminated from ‘Bigg Boss 5. The young singer over the years has garnered a sizeable fan base after singing the song “Periya Kari”. In 2020, she was selected by the BBC as one of the top 100 women in the world for her talent in indigenous music.
There is great curiosity among fans as to the remuneration that was paid to Isaivani for her participation in ‘Bigg Boss 5’. It is said that she signed up for rupees one lakh a week and her stay was for 49 days. In this regards it is likely that she would have taken home the sum of rupees seven lakhs minus various taxes including GST.
