Though the progress of science and technology helps us to grow better as a society, few evils tend to use those innovations and advancements dangerously. While the uprising of AI in the digital world has resulted in significant improvement in various industries, it is also being used to create deep fake videos of celebrities.
Recently, actress Rashmika Mandanna's AI deep fake video created a major controversy. Both the actress and the person in the video were affected by it while many came forward to support them. Now, Bigg Boss 3 Tamil contestant Abhirami Venkatachalam has become a victim of the same as an AI deepfaked clip of her did rounds on the internet.
Abhirami took to her Instagram story and spoke out against the deep fake videos. She posted a very thoughtful note with a lot of heart. Her post is now going viral on social media. She wrote:
"do not want this to happen to even
the worst people in my life
It's just so sad deep fake is getting so famous nowadays
Anyone can make us look bad
It's a cheap scary world
All I want to say is the person who is creating these is a criminal but the ones who share it and have pleasure are the bigger criminals
Let universe teach a strong lesson to all these people
don't worry society I am still a strong woman... nothing is made in this world yet to break me...
technology is made open for everyone to learn other than that all other crap is happening.... don't know what pleasure ppl get in watching a deep fake naked videos of different woman, actually any such videos... all the best to future of our nation... I didn't want to say anything but me keeping quite will give them lisensce to do this for more girls and woman...
