The 'Bigg Boss 3' hosted by Kamal Haasan has reached its grand finale today when the title and the other winners will be crowned. The Hindi version 'Bigg Boss 13' hosted by Salman Khan has landed in fierce controversy for the Bed Friend Forever (BFF) task that had even male and female contestants sharing beds.
A section of the social media users has started a hashtag Boycott Bigg Boss and has painted it as a violation on religion and the show has been accused of spoiling the culture. They have questioned how a Brahmin girl Mahira Sharma be asked to share a bed with a Muslim man Asim Riaz. However it has since been clarified that the black and white photograph that has been shared on the platforms is not of Sharma and Riaz but that of Suyyash Rai and Kishwar Merchant who participated in 'Bigg Boss 9' and got married later on.
It remains to be seen if the current controversy will shut down 'Bigg Boss' or die down like the many before this.
