Send us your feedback to audioarticles@vaarta.com
We are going to hear about Omicron subvariant BF.7 in the coming weeks. It's because a case has been detected in India after the subvariant got spread to the US and other countries purportedly from Mongolia.
As per early reports, the symptoms of the subvariant include chest pain, difficulty in hearing, and continuous coughing. The variant is said to be immune-evasive.
Since it is festival time, the public are advised to mask up in crowded areas. But the fact is that most of us have stopped wearing masks.
As per a report put out by Firstpost, the XBB variant is of a bigger concern right now in India. "A hybrid of Omicron’s BA.2.75 and BJ.1 subvariants, it was first discovered in Singapore," the report says.
Meanwhile, the curbs are said to be excessive in several pockets of China due to new flare-ups of Covid-19. India, however, is hopefully not going to witness a huge outbreak.
