There is a custom among college friends to give birthday bumps to a birthday boy and most of the time it leaves the receiver with a few bruises and body aches. But a IIM student from Bengaluru lost his life after his friends beat him up badly in the name of his birthday celebrations.
Though the boy seemed to be okay and went home he complained of severe stomach pain and had to be admitted to the hospital where to the horror of the parents his pancreas was completely damaged. Many celebrities and social activists have shared the video and have warned youngsters not to indulge in such activities.
