Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas to reprise Prabhas in remake of ‘Chatrapathi’

As has been rumoured, Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is debuting in Bollywood next year. His maiden Hindi venture was announced on Friday. He will be stepping into the shoes of Prabhas in an ambitious remake of SS Rajamouli’s ‘Chatrapathi’.

‘Aadhi’ and ‘Khaidi No. 150’ director VV Vinayak is debuting in Hindi with the remake. It’s new territory for both the lead man and filmmaker.

The actioner is being bankrolled by Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios, who is seeking to mount the mass masala flick so suit the sensibilities of Bollywood. The producer is counting on the Midas Touch of Vinayak to see the film through.

This one is Bellamkonda’s second outing with the ‘Tagore’ director. He is doing ‘Alludu Adhurs’ in Telugu currently.
