Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas’ ‘Kishkindhapuri’ Trailer: Spine-Chilling Experience

Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is gearing up to surprise audiences with his upcoming film Kishkindhapuri, touted as Telugu cinema’s first-of-its-kind occult thriller. Directed by Koushik Pegallapati and produced by Sahu Garapati under Shine Screens banner, the film has been creating buzz ever since its teaser and song release. Now, the newly launched theatrical trailer has taken the hype to the next level.

The trailer opens with a gripping introduction, immediately setting a chilling tone with eerie visuals of both the haunted town and a menacing ghost. At the center of the story is “Suvarna Maya,” a mysterious house in the strange town of Kishkindhapuri. When the protagonist, his love interest, and a group of friends venture into the house seeking supernatural experiences, their curiosity soon turns into a terrifying struggle for survival as they encounter dark forces lurking within.

Koushik Pegallapati steps into a less-explored genre in Telugu cinema, presenting a storyline that blends horror, suspense, and intense drama. The trailer suggests a narrative packed with unnerving sequences and spine-tingling moments that promise a gripping big-screen experience.

Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, who starts off in a subdued manner, gradually unveils his full acting range as the story intensifies. His powerful screen presence and impactful delivery mark a strong comeback. Anupama Parameswaran also makes her mark, especially in the closing scenes of the trailer where she appears possessed, leaving audiences intrigued.

The film balances horror with lighter moments, thanks to supporting actors Nellore Sudharshan and Hyper Aadi, who add comic relief to the tense storyline.

On the technical front, Kishkindhapuri boasts rich production values. Cinematographer Chinmay Salaskar captures the eerie setting with striking visuals, while Chaitan Bharadwaj’s haunting background score amplifies the suspense. The work of Art Director D. Siva Kamesh and Production Designer Manisha A. Dutt further enhances the film’s authenticity, and editor Niranjan Devaramane ensures a crisp, gripping cut. Creative Head G. Kanishka and screenplay co-writer Darahas Palakollu have also played a crucial role in shaping the film.

With its theatrical release scheduled for September 12th, Kishkindhapuri has already generated strong anticipation. Backed by a unique premise, strong performances, and high-end technical execution, the film looks set to deliver a nail-biting experience for fans of thrillers and horror alike.
