Thalapthy Vijay’s Beast directed by Nelson Dilipkumar hit the silver screen with much expectation from fans but managed to get rave reviews. As the film is marching into the second week of release a new buzz states that Beast’s second part is most likely to be made.
In an interview, director Nelson Dilipkumar reportedly stated that if situation and chance arise, ‘Beast’ will have a second part. In an interview with a regional media, he reportedly said that the film will have a part 2 if actor Vijay agrees to play the role of Veeraraghavan.
Beast is written and directed by Nelson and produced by Sun Pictures. The film stars Vijay and Pooja Hegde, while Selvaraghavan, Shine Tom Chacko, Yogi Babu and Redin Kingsley play supporting roles. It revolves around an ex-RAW agent’s crusade to rescue people held hostage in a shopping mall by terrorists.
Reports also state that Vijay’s Beast has surpassed Theri’s total collection in just four days. According to trade reports, Beast has been putting up great numbers at the box office. It is to be seen if the film can hold the theatres during the weekdays.
