‘Beast’: ‘Jolly O Gymkhana’ is a complete winner!

‘Jolly O Gymkhana’, the second song from ‘Beast’, is out. Shot on Vijay and Pooja Hegde, the Anirudh Ravichander composition has lyrics by Chandra Bose. Nakash Aziz’s vocals keep us hooked as much as the music. The spirit of the Tamil original has been retained in full measure and glory. The dance moves by the lead pair are purposive while respecting the flippant nature of the playful song.

The lyrics by Chandra Bose, who last year wrote all songs in ‘Pushpa’, reflect the attitude of the hero, who will be seen as a RAW spy in the action thriller. Directed by Nelson, the film will hit the screens on April 13. 

The film features Selvaraghavan in a key role. A hostage actioner, it has Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Bjorn Surrao, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, Shine Tom Chacko, Liliput Faruqui, and Ankur Ajit Vikal in other roles.

Meanwhile, Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna have started shooting for Thalapathy66 in Chennai. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, its music is by SS Thaman.
