Thalapathy Vijay's 'Beast' is undoubtedly one of the most awaited biggie not only by fans but also by the film industry that is reeling under the impact of the coronavirus pandemic in the past two years. The film directed by Nelson and produced by Sun Pictures is slated for release on April 13th this year.

Meanwhile there was a huge buzz on social media that the audio launch of 'Beast' is being planned at the Nehru Stadium in Chennai and other places and could happen on March 20th or 25th. Photos were being shared of the setwork in progress at the venue. Thalapathy Vijay fans got excited as his speeches during the audio launches of films have gone viral and trend for a long time on social media.

Reliable sources suggest that Sun Pictures the producer of 'Beast' has decided to skip the audio launch as the gathering of huge crowds could cause problems including the virus spread. The team also are considering the release of the trailer in the UAE on the last day of the Dubai Expo 2022 which falls on March 31st. However the logistic issues may not make it feasible and we have to wait and see if atleast this one happens.

Meanwhile there is also talk that the second single from 'Beast' is likely to be released soon to passify the disappointed fans who were waiting long for the audio launch. The film has Vijay and Pooja Hegde as the lead pair while Anirudh scores the music.
