‘Bangarraju’ on ZEE5: 100M streaming minutes in 24 hours

It’s known that ‘Bangarraju’ started streaming on ZEE5 on February 18. It has secured a 24-hour-period record of sorts.

The streaming giant is elated that the fantasy-comedy has clocked 100 million streaming minutes in 24 hours. “The phenomenal performance is due to the content and the popularity of the OTT platform,” a media observer commented.

The film stars Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishna as the first lead pair. But Krithi Shetty, the beauty of ‘Uppena’, is on a par with Ramya Krishna’s character. Naga Chaitanya, the male protagonist, gets to show a range of emotions and acting chops.

The ZEE5 success is in continuation of the theatrical success of the movie. Directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala, ‘Bangarraju’ is produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna on Annapurna Studios and by Zee Studios. Anup Rubens and J Yuvaraj’s music and cinematography, respectively, have been acclaimed.
