Bandla Ganesh reacts to ‘I will cut my neck’ comments

Bandla Ganesh had famously said in at least four interviews that he will kill himself by cutting his neck with a blade should Mahakutami lose the Telangana polls.  In the event, TRS decimated the Kutami.

During his Vaikunta Ekadasi darshan at a temple town, the Congress spokesperson was asked about his ‘promise’.  ”Vanda antam, sir (We say 100 different things).  We speak out of anger or something.  It doesn’t mean we will do it.  I said that I will cut off my neck to boost the morale of our cadres.  Confidence ended up being over-confidence,” Bandla Ganesh said.

Has he been in an exile?  ”I am not in an exile.  Since our party has lost, it has saddened me.  That’s why I have been silent. We had expected a lot but the people have rejected us,” the actor-turned-producer-politician said.
