In films, mass heroes can smell suspects from miles away. Looks like that's not so in real life. An assistant of Nandamuri Balakrishna recently did a forgery of his wife Vasundhara Devi's signature. It took the staff of a private bank in Banjara Hills to spot the potential scam.

The suspect is Korri Siva, who had joined as an assistant of the Hindupur MLA a few weeks ago. He reportedly applied for the mobile banking facility by doing forgery of Balayya's wife's signature without the latter's knowledge.

When the bank staff called up Vasundhara's accountant to confirm the request before activating the facility, they came to know that no such request was ever raised. Growing suspicious, the bank investigated the matter. It was later discovered that Vasundhara's sign was forged.

With the help of Vasundhara and Jubilee Hills police, the needle of suspicion moved towards Shiva. A probe has been launched.
