The teaser of “Akhanda 2,” starring Telugu cinema superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna, has been officially released and is being celebrated by fans across social media. The teaser, lasting 1 minute and 18 seconds, showcases Balakrishna’s trademark larger-than-life presence, including his powerful dialogues and dynamic action sequences.
The filmmakers released the teaser as a special tribute on Balakrishna’s birthday. It begins with a scenic snowy mountain, followed by Balakrishna’s intense entry holding a trident. In a gripping sequence, he lifts multiple enemies with ease and questions a villain with a powerful line: “Even Yama (god of death) won’t dare without Shiva’s permission. Are you daring to take innocent lives?” This is followed by high-voltage action scenes, with the teaser hinting at an epic battle ahead.
A birthday greeting to Balakrishna is included in the teaser, along with the official announcement that the movie will be released on September 25, 2024, coinciding with the Dussehra festival.
“Akhanda 2” is the sequel to the highly successful “Akhanda,” a collaboration between director Boyapati Srinu and Balakrishna. With high expectations riding on the sequel, the film also stars Sreeleela as the female lead and actor Aadhi as the antagonist.
Filming began during the Kumbh Mela, and the project is being produced by 14 Reels Studio. Balakrishna’s daughter Tejaswini is presenting the film, and the official release date was announced on the day of the film’s pooja ceremony.
