Simbu does it for CWC Ashwin Kumar

Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan who has acted in a few films in small roles such as ‘OK Kanmani’ and ‘Aditya Varma’ attained fame through the ‘Cook With Comali’ reality show.  Sivaangi fixing him as her onscreen crush and her antics in trying to impress him were a highlight of the show.

Ashwin signed a three film deal with Trident Arts and his first film ‘Enna Solla Pogirai’ released earlier this year turned out to be a damp squib at the box office.  He was also the center of controversy for his speech at the audio launch of the film saying that he slept when listening to forty scripts from filmmakers because they were boring.

Ashwin has now teamed up with ‘Bigg Boss 3’ fame Losliya for a music video titled “Baby Nee Sugar”.  The video was lanched by none other than Simbu who is basking in the tremendous success of ‘Maanaadu’.  It is worth mentioning that the Ashwin-Reba Monica John starring ‘Kutty Pattas’ song video has a staggering 159 million views on YouTube.  It remains to be seen if the new one gets the same response from fans.
