Atlee who started his career in the romantic comedy film ‘Raja Rani’ got the opportunity to helm Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Theri’ as his sophomore project and there has been no looking back for him after that. He has gone on to give two more films ‘Mersal’ and ‘Bigil’ with Thalapathy and both have been made on a grand scale cementing his position as a big-budget commercial filmmaker.
Atlee has reportedly signed his next project to be produced by Shah Rukh Khan who will also be acting as the leading man. It is said that the as-yet-untitled film will go on floors in mid-2021 and reproduction work has already begun.
A source has given a hint that SRK will be playing a RAW agent in the Atlee film and the shooting will take place in many foreign countries with a lot of car chases, gun fires and over the top action. Well that’s sure up Atlee’s alley and there will be grand sets too. Lets wait and watch.
