Atlee’s next movie confirmed?

Director Atlee, who is riding high on Bigil’s success, seems to have confirmed his upcoming project, as per reports.

While speculations of Atlee collaborating with Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan have been doing the rounds for several months now, a couple of sources from Bollywood have confirmed that Atlee will indeed be teaming up with Shah Rakh Khan for his upcoming project, which will reportedly be produced by Karan Johar under his Dharma Productions banner. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the news from the makers, and an update on the same is awaited.

After Zero turned out to be unsuccessful commercially, Shah Rukh Khan had decided to take a break from movies in order to spend quality time with his family. On his 54th birthday, however, the actor reportedly informed that he has been reading scripts for a while now and will make an announcement as soon as he confirms his next. Rumours have been doing the rounds that SRK has heard scripts from directors Rajkumar Hirani and Aashiq Abu as well.

Despite taking a break from films, Shah Rukh Khan has had a busy year, producing Taapsee-Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Badla’, Emraan Hashmi’s web series ‘Bard of Blood’ and also doing the voiceover for Mufasa in the Hindi version of Disney’s The Lion King.
