Atlee picks Selvaraghavan’s heroine for new movie

Its been reported that a popular actress who starred in Selvaragavan’s film will be a part of director Atlee’s next film.  Atlee is currently involved in the postproduction of his Hindi debut movie ‘Jawan’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Deepika Padukone with Anirudh scoring the music.

Atlee is also producing his first Hindi movie which is the remake of his Tamil blockbuster hit ‘Theri’ (2016 ) that starred Thalapathy Vijay, Samantha and Amy Jackson.  Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh will be reprising the roles played by Vijay and Samantha and now it is said that actress Wamiqa Gabbi is on board to play the character of Amy Jackson.  The film is directed by Kalees who earlier helmed ‘Kee’ starring Jiiva.

Wamiqa Gabbi debuted in Tamil with Selvaraghavan’s ‘Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam’ and is currently starring with Jayam Ravi in ‘Genie’ and the long delayed ‘Iravaakaalam’ starring S.J. Suryah.
