For more than seven decades several countries including India celebrate International Father’s Day’ on the third Sunday of June. This time it falls on 18th June and many celebrities and politicians have shared their emotional bonding with their dad’s on social media.
This is ace director Atlee’s first ‘Father’s Day and his wife Priya Atlee has shared cute photographs of him showering love to their son Meer, pet dog Becky and of course herself. She wrote alongside the pics on Twitter “Happy happy Father’s Day dear DADA, Meer , Becky and mumma loves you to the moon and back Ur the best DADA in the whole world Love youuuuuuuuuu”
Atlee and Krishna Priya became lovers while collaborating for short films and tied the knot in 2014. The couple’s first son Meer was born eight years later on January 31st this year.
Atlee, who made his debut as a director in the Tamil film industry with the romantic drama ‘Raja Rani’ starring Arya and Nayanthara tasted instant success. He then followed it up with three consecutive blockbuster with Thalapathy Vijay in the lead namely ‘Theri’, ‘Mersal’ and ‘Bigil’. He has now gone to the next level in his career and has completed the biggie ‘Jawan’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Deepika Padukone which is slated for release on September 7th. He is the favorite to direct Vijay again for the fourth time in ‘Thalapathy 69’.
