Atharvaa’s ‘Kuruthi Aattam’ trailer is truly worth the long wait!

Actor Atharvaa teamed up with ‘8 Thottakkal’ director Sri Ganesh back in 2017 for the action thriller ‘Kuruthi Aattam’. The long-awaited film is finally slated to hit the silver screens on August 5 and the makers unveiled the official trailer on July 28 at a press meet that happened in Chennai.

We can see through the three-minute-long trailer that years of patience for the film’s theatrical release haven’t gone in vain. The video begins by establishing its primary characters well – Atharvaa, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Radhika Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi, Kanna Ravi, Vatsan Chakravarty and Vinod Sagar.

The first thing that crosses our minds while watching the trailer is the exhilarating stunt choreography by Vicky. While half of the trailer shows Sakthi (Atharvaa) as an energetic Kabbadi player, the other half gives us glimpses of him trying to guard Kanmani (child) against Gandhimathi (Radhika Sarathkumar) and her men.

Yuvan Shankar Raja’s background score, Dinesh Purushothaman’s visuals and Anil Kirsh’s cuts have set the mood right and elevated the trailer very much. The intense thriller seems to have a strong emotional connection amid the violent characters. Kuruthi Aattam is produced by Rockfort Entertainment.
