A few days ago, Vikram Goud, who co-produced the 2012 hit 'Ishq', was rushed to a hospital in Jubilee Hills when he was shot allegedly by his rivals. Since then, Goud has been undergoing treatment in the hospital.

But something shocking has emerged from a police investigation. Goud, a leader of the Congress Party, actually staged the murder attempt himself. An aspiring actor helped him in this crime.

The police have discovered that Goud was aiming at killing two birds with one stone: get sympathy vote when he will contest the 2019 elections, and duck pressure from his financiers. Goud is deep in debts, by the way.

The police suspected foul play when his wife made a statement that contradicted certain prima facie conclusions.

Although 'Ishq' was a big hit, Goud has since kept a low-profile with respect to the film industry. He will be arrested after he is discharged from the hospital.
