Team India secured a straightforward win over Zimbabwe in their final Super 12 match of the T20 World Cup 2022 on Sunday. India, Pakistan, New Zealand, and England are the four teams that have qualified for the semi-finals of the tournament.

While the match has gotten the fans excited, Ashwin had other ways to be precise a more hilarious way to make headlines.

In the 11-second clip shared by a page on Twitter , Team India captain Rohit Sharma is seen discussing the nitty-gritties of the concluded match. However, that’s not what the viewers are interested in. In the backdrop, off-spinner R Ashwin, oblivious that he is in the camera frame, is seen supervising two Indian cricket jerseys. In an amusing turn of events, he then goes on to sniff those vests, apparently to check which one is his. The sniffing seems to have worked, as he dropped one vest and walked off with the other one.

This video has now got the attention of fans more than the match. The hilarious video has gained lakhs of views with comments section filled up with fun and nostalgia.

Coming back to the match Suryakumar Yadav and KL Rahul scored blistering half-centuries as India posted 186 for five in their last Group 2 match. In reply, Zimbabwe were bowled out for 115 in 17.2 overs.  Ashwin ended up picking three wickets against Zimbabwe.
