A$AP Rocky, her boyfriend and father of her children, is now in Los Angeles to face two counts of felonious assault with a semiautomatic firearm.
Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, stands accused of pointing a gun at his former friend Terell Ephron's face during a fight and then shooting twice at Ephron during another confrontation on November 6, 2021. It was said that Ephron got slightly hurt.
Rocky was detained on arrival at Los Angeles International Airport in April 2022. He was charged that August. Sufficient evidence had been found for the assault charges against Rocky to continue and for the court to be there; he was accused of using a gun.
He pleaded not guilty with his lawyer, saying there isn't enough proof of this shooting, citing unclear surveillance film and witness statements, Los Angeles City News Service reported.
Questions were raised about Ephron raising a claim of him hurting his hand from gunfire then, and he had personally sued Rocky at a civilian court.
When Rocky was arrested in April 2022, Rihanna, a native of Barbados, had two kids with him.
It marked the first week where both Rocky albums, "Long. Live. A$AP" and "At.Long.Last. A$AP," ranked at number one on the Billboard 200. When his third album, "Testing," arrived in 2018, it crashed its way to the top five of the charts.
