Arya’s new movie with ‘Teddy’ director powerful title announced

Director Shakti Soundarajan has built a reputation for himself as an innovative filmmaker who has delivered entirely new genres to Tamil cinema in his previous outings.  A German Shephert was the hero in his debut venture ‘Naaigal Jaakirathai’ followed by the first zombie movie in Tamil, ‘Miruthan’ and the first space movie as well ‘Tik Tik Tik.’.

The director combined with Arya for his fourth movie ‘Teddy’ which had a talking Teddy bear in center of the action.  The film released directly on Disney Plus Hotstar OTT is said to have garnered the biggest family audience viewership on the channel.

Following the success of ‘Teddy’ Arya has himself come forward to produce Shakti Soundarajan’s next film which is already on the floors.  Today the title of the film has been announced as ‘Captain’ which has Arya, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Simran Bagga and Kavya Shetty as the principal cast.
