Since Kamal Haasan has been slammed by the BJP for saying that terrorism has spread into the Hindu camp, 'Dhruva' villain and 'Roja' hero Arvind Swamy has come to his colleague's defence.
Without taking Kamal's name, the talented actor says, "Terrorist definition: A person who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims."
While the BJP has lashed out that Kamal is "mentally unstable", DG Vanzara, the famous ex-IPS officer whose team targeted terror modules in Gujarat in the early 2000s, wrote, "Kamal Hassan, who speaks about Non-Existent Hindu Terrorism is willfully weakening Fight against Jihadi Terrorism, be repaired in Mental Asylum."
"If Kamal Haasan has a shred of evidence on Hindu terror, he should place it before NIA. Else, apologise. And let parties make stand clear," Abhijit Majumder, a journalist, opined.
