Tamil Rockers is a name that is well known among not only Tamil audiences but all around the country. The website run by unknown and untraced persons has been wreaking havoc on the Tamil and other film industries by releasing pirated prints of just released movies.

For the past decade or so efforts have been made to find the owners of Tamil Rockers and bring them to task with little success. Now a new webseries has been made titled 'Tamil Rockers' starring Arun Vijay in the lead role.

'Tamil Rockers' directed by Arivazhagan is produced by the legendary AVM Productions and is said to be based on a police officers hunt to bring down the piracy mafia. The series which has ten episodes has been shot in the forests of Thalakonam in Andhra. It will be soon stream on Sony Liv and it is said that already work has begun for the next season as well.

Arivazhagan and Arun Vijay have earlier collaborated in 'Kuttram 23' also starring Mahima Nambiar which was a critical as well as commercial success.
