Makers of Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘GOAT’ thank the Tamil Nadu government’s new order – Release teaser out

The biggest Tamil film of the year, ‘The Greatest Of All Time’, starring Thalapathy Vijay, is set to hit the screens tomorrow. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the film’s release, leading to a frenzy for tickets and preparations for grand celebrations. However, there was initial uncertainty surrounding the availability of special shows on the film’s opening day in Tamil Nadu.

Initially, many theatres across the state had only scheduled four shows between 9 AM and 1:30 AM, pending government approval for a fifth show within a time window extending from 9 AM to 2 AM. This led to unrest among fans, as several cinema halls delayed opening bookings for the film’s first day. However, the Tamil Nadu government has now passed an order permitting theatres to conduct five shows from 9 AM to 2 AM on the opening day, alleviating fans’ concerns.

Producer Archana Kalpathi expressed her gratitude on Twitter (X), thanking the Tamil Nadu government and Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin for their support. She tweeted, “A big thank you to our Tamil Nadu Government and @Udhaystalin Na for granting special shows and extending the show time and supporting cinema as always” (sic). Adding to the excitement, the makers of GOAT have just released a stunning 35-second promotional teaser ahead of the film’s release.
