Kollywood actor Aravind Swamy, who made a comeback of sorts and won laurels for his performance in Thani Oruvan is giving nightmares to Tollywood producers. The actor who was approached to play the mean man in the Telugu remake starring Ram Charan, has quoted a whopping Rs 3 crore for the film, says reports. “Aravind Swamy's character takes the centre stage and is very crucial in the film. Hence he has quoted that amount,” says a source close to the actor.
Shocked by this development, Charan has reportedly asked his uncle Allu Aravind to approach the likes of Madhavan, Sudeep or Bollywood actor Neil Nihin Mukesh to reprise this iconic role. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film is currently in pre-production stage and the shooting is expected to begin from January, 2016.
Producers Allu Aravind and NV Prasad are now searching for a suitable actor to reprise the baddie and it remains to be seen who will land a role in this most awaited film.
