AR Rahman’s ’99 Songs’ to release in Telugu, too!

It’s known that legendary music director AR Rahman is producing a movie titled ’99 Songs’.  He is not just its producer and musician but also its co-writer.  This prestigious project has got a release date.

“I am pleased to announce that my production house has teamed up with Jio Movies to release ’99 Songs’ on June 21 in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil,” Rahman said.

The romantic music film is directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy, who has also penned the story with Rahman.  Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas are the lead pair.  “It tells a sensual story about art and self-discovery of a struggling singer who wants to be a successful music composer,” the film’s Wiki page says.
