Isaignani Ilaiyaraja sent a legal notice to SPB against using his songs in the USA concert and SPB has announced in a Facebook post that henceforth he will not sing the songs composed by Ilaiyaraja in concerts.
This has evolved as a raging debate that is ruling the social media as well as regular media. This has become a huge controversy as many people have criticised Ilaiyaraja for sending legal notice while a section of people defending Raja's claim of rights over the songs.
Now another music legend A..R.Rahman who has worked under Ilaiyaraja before becoming a music director and has worked with SPB in may songs was asked for his opinion on the controversy.
While addressing media persons in the press meet organised for his upcoming movie 'Kaatru Veliyidai;, Rahman said "I cannot talk anything about this controversy before thinking about it".
