AR Rahman’s daughter Khatija gets married; See pictures

Legendary music composer AR Rahman took to his social media account to announce that his eldest daughter Khatija Rahman is married to sound engineer and aspiring entrepreneur Riyasdeen Riyan.

“May the Almighty bless the couple… thanking you in advance for your good wishes and love,” the music director wrote on his Instagram handle alongside a picture from the ceremony with his family, including the newly weds. Khatija also shared a picture with her husband and captioned the post, “The most awaited day in my life. Married to my man @riyasdeenriyan.” Fans and celebrities showered the couple with congratulatory messages and wishes soon after. 

Announcing her engagement to Riyasdeen on December 29 last year, Khatija wrote, “With the blessings of the Almighty I’m happy to announce to you all my engagement with Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed @riyasdeenriyan, an aspiring entrepreneur and a wizkid audio engineer. The engagement happened on 29th December, my birthday in the presence of close family and loved ones.”
