Renowned director A.R. Murugadoss, who is currently working on two major films—’Sikandar’ starring Salman Khan and ‘Madraasi’ featuring Sivakarthikeyan—has hinted at the possibility of a sequel to his blockbuster hit ‘Ghajini’.
While ‘Sikandar’ is set for release on the 27th and ‘Madraasi’ is also expected to hit screens soon, Murugadoss recently addressed speculations about his next project.
‘Ghajini’, released in 2005 with Suriya, Nayanthara, and Asin in the lead, was a massive success. The film’s Hindi remake, starring Aamir Khan, also became a record-breaking hit at the box office.
When asked about ‘Ghajini 2’, Murugadoss responded, “I have some ideas for a sequel. Telugu producer Allu Aravind has shown interest in producing the film. If we proceed, it will be made in both Tamil and Hindi simultaneously.”
This revelation has sparked curiosity among fans—will Suriya and Aamir Khan share screen space in ‘Ghajini 2’, or will they have separate versions? Only time will tell!
