Andhra Pradesh has postponed the SSC exams by two weeks. They were scheduled to start from March 31. In view of the increasing threat of Coronavirus, the Jaganmohan Reddy government has taken the inevitable decision. The Education Minister today said that a decision will be taken on the next schedule after reviewing the prevailing situation after March 31.
Just on Monday, the government was reported to be making plans for the transportation of question papers, OMR sheets, etc. to conduct the exams smoothly. It even had been planning to allocate separate rooms for candidates suffering from cold, cough, and fever, symptoms associated with COVID-19.
On Monday, the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) postponed Group-I (Mains), which were scheduled to be held from April 7 to 19.
